About Me
Born in 1999 and raised in Oradell, New Jersey, I grew up with a passion for both writing and filmmaking. I even wrote my first novel at age 12. I have since gone on to work as an Assistant for the New Jersey Motion Picture & Television Commission.
I spent four years studying at Lafayette College, majoring in film and English. There, I directed multiple short films for class. During COVID, I directed my 30-minute psychological horror film, "The Shadows," which was selected for the BFC Short Film Fest 2022. I also adapted it into a feature-length screenplay, which was a quarter-finalist in the ISA Horror & Thriller Genre Busting Screenplay Competition.
I have since branched out into journalism and written for BuzzFeed and Comic Book Resources, reporting and analyzing film, television, books, music, comics, and video games. I read and judged several scripts submitted for the Austin Film Festival. I also helped write several episodes of Dead Talk Live. When I'm not working at the NJMPTVC, I work as a freelance writer for New Jersey Urban News and Digital Trends Media Group.
More recently, I made the sci-fi horror short "High Light" with partner-in-filmmaking Ryan Scully. Based on a scene from my feature-length script, this no-budget short won several awards at multiple film festivals.
